An emergency room in Missouri is seeking an emergency medicine physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six months starting in mid-April.
On the job, the locum will be seeing patients of all ages for cases related to selected splint or cast application, lumbar puncture, dislocation or fracture reduction or immobilization, removal of foreign bodies, resuscitation, blood component transfusion therapy, paracentesis, use of manual and mechanical ventilators and resuscitators, cardioversion, abscess incision and drainage, epistaxis management, airway management and intubation, laceration repair, and defibrillation.
The provider will work five to seven 12-hour shifts per month.
This facility uses the Cerner EMR.
